Categorias y premios
The classifications will reflect:
- Individual, male and female classification
- Classification by teams of 2 participants, male, female and mixed.
All participants must take the departure with a minimum mandatory material that will be:
1 first aid kit,
Emergency thermal blanket
1,5 liter of beverage
Race bib and technical file of each stage
2 energy bars or similar, marked with the number of the race bib
Front light (first stage)
Windproof and waterproof jacket with hood
The average temperatures in the month of November oscillate between 14ºC minimum and 26ºC maximum. We will find ourselves in a mountainous environment with important thermal oscillations between day and night, which can reach about 18’00.
Cap and sunglasses
Waterproof pants in case of heavy rain
GPS with downloaded tracks
Warm clothing (fleece or similar jacket and long trousers)
The use of sunscreen and insect repellent is recommended
Front light and replacement batteries, for the end of the first stage and for use in the campsite
All participants who complete the 5 stages will receive a gift that will accredit them as finishers. The daily awards will recognize the winners of the stage in the individual male and female categories.
The final prize will recognize the top three in each individual and team category. The top three in each individual male and female category will receive a cash prize of 1,500€, 1,000€ and 500€.
The dropout during the development of one of the stages, will imply the exclusion of the general classification of the race. Participants who leave during a stage or do not take the start in one of them, will be able to continue in the race without opting to the general classification of the race nor to the victory in any of the remaining stages. The dropout points will coincide with the refreshment stations.
To be able to take part in the Jungle Trailrun Cuba, it will be essential to present before October 15th, 2017, a medical certificate according to the attached model..
